My My Story
My My Records was created by Jenn Sutkowski to put out her own projects and the occasional, other, special project too spectacular not to sing from the rooftops.
Jenn writes: A label is something I had been throwing around for decades. The inspiration to actually do it, however, came from honoring this man.

This is Jim “Rocky” Del Balzo, my brother-in-law, who was Senior Executive VP of Rock and Alternative Promotion at Sony/Columbia Records. Thanks to Jim, I had access to shows I never would have been able to attend and stories I wouldn’t have heard. He lived for music and he was magic at making shit happen.
It occurred to me to start a label “with” him, even though he’s been gone six years. He, with his unrivaled wit, would get a good laugh out of that.

In life, Jim was wise enough to manage artists after he stopped working at Sony, instead of starting a label and footing the bill for vinyl, etc., like I've been doing. ;-)
As mentioned, Jim made shit happen. If anyone could do it from the other side, it’s this beast of a man. And if it's just little old me screaming into the void, the worst that happens is that I create and promote some music I love making with my friends and believe in. Life's too short not to.
With this label, I honor Jim, his instincts, energy, singular focus, confidence, the belief that great music should be heard, and knowing how to get it out there.
And thank you for being here and digging around the bins.
